2009-2010 Center News & Events

On August 2009, UTSA won a $5 million NSF grant to establish SiViRT. This is the largest stimulus award UTSA has ever recieved. The NSF grant is part of the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act. Later, UTSA won additional $500K NSF grant to construct the VizLab and the VizWall. SiViRT is funded under NSF Award #0932339. The VizWall is funded under NSF Award #0923468. In 2010, SiViRT participated in the Austin Science and Engineering Festival. SiViRT student, Andrew Baines, was recognized for participating in the Louis Stroke Alliance for Minority Participation Conference.
